Foothill wins 1A championship over Edison

On a day when 13,636 showed up at the Honda Center to watch six Southern Section championship games, it was the fans from Santa Ana Foothill who put on quite a show in helping their team win the 1A championship with a 65-58 win over Edison on Saturday.
They were cheering, celebrating and having quite a party.
Leading the way for Foothill was Riley O’Hern, who scored 16 points. Lucas Araujo added 13 points and was seven of seven on free throws.
Edison received 18 points from Brae Ivey.
