Boys’ basketball: Taft picks up two transfers for Coach Derrick Taylor

Taft is rebuilding fast under new Coach Derrick Taylor.
Taylor confirmed the arrival of two transfers, 6-foot-7 senior Kesean Davis from Price and 6-10 sophomore Antwaun January, who was homeschooled last year and is the younger brother of former Taft player Anthony January. Davis will have to sit out until January.
They join former Buckley guard Kihei Clark.
Taylor, who left St. John Bosco to return to Taft, could quickly have the Toreadors back in the City Section title hunt with Fairfax and Westchester.
