Boys’ soccer: Beware of West Valley League teams in City Section Division I quarterfinals
- Share via
There are three West Valley League teams alive in the City Section Division I soccer quarterfinals set for Thursday, and two will be locking up in a showdown: Birmingham at Granada Hills.
The third team, El Camino Real, plays South Gate.
Granada Hills will have to slow down Birmingham’s Erick Villatoro, but Granada Hills’ speed could cause the Patriots problems. Birmingham is the defending champion.
The other quarterfinals also feature top matchups, with Monroe taking on visiting San Fernando and Huntington Park playing at Bell.
