Boys’ soccer: El Camino Real wins Division I title with overtime win over Birmingham

It only figured it might take overtime to decide the City Section Division I boys’ soccer championship between West Valley League rivals El Camino Real and Birmingham. And it did.
Yarden Amira contributed both goals, including the tiebreaker in the first of two overtime periods, to give El Camino Real a 2-1 victory and a fifth City title for Coach David Hussey.
In Southern Section Division 1, Servite won its first championship with a 2-0 win over El Toro. Oscar Flores and Roman Manning scored goals for the Friars.
