Boys’ soccer: Loyola wins Division I Southern California Regional

Loyola has stamped itself as the No. 1 soccer team in Southern California.
After winning the Southern Section Division 1 championship, the Cubs captured the Southern California Regional title on Saturday with a 2-0 victory over San Diego Cathedral Catholic.
Elliot Smith-Hastie and Jack Newman scored goals for the Cubs.
Antonio Chavez Borelli was the goalie recording the shutout.
