Thirty-nine former Loyola High football players are on college football rosters, according to the count supplied by school alumnus Patrick Jacobs.
Thirteen are playing in the Pac-12, including expected starters Kodi Whitfield (safety) at Stanford and Coleman Shelton (offensive lineman) at Washinton.
There will be a reunion of Loyola players in Boise this weekend when Washington plays Boise State. Besides Shelton and lineman John Turner playing for Washington, Boise State is represented by Chaz Anderson, a starting receiver from Loyola.
