Two weeks after traveling to Oregon for a game, the St. John Bosco football team will be taking a red-eye flight to New Jersey on Tuesday night and spend the week touring and preparing for a Saturday game against St. Peter’s Prep.
The team leaves at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday night and has visits planned for West Point and the 9/11 Memorial.
There is homework time built in, along with practice time.
St. John Bosco is 4-0 and has scored 76, 67, 66 and 55 points in games this season.
It will be the final nonleague game before starting Trinity League play on Oct. 9 against Santa Margarita.
The game, set for 2:30 p.m. (Pacific time), is not scheduled for television but may be streamed on the web. The team returns on Sunday.
