Football: Martin Andrus of Los Angeles picks up offer from Stanford

How good is junior defensive tackle Martin Andrus of Los Angeles High?
So good that Stanford has joined USC, UCLA and Washington in making him a scholarship offer, according to Coach Eric Scott.
What they all like is he has terrific grades, he’s 6 feet 2, 255 pounds and can run.
“He’s awesome getting off the ball,” Scott said.
As a sophomore, Andrus had the team’s top GPA at 3.67, Scott said.
Los Angeles opens its season on Thursday against El Camino Real.
