When it comes to 16-year-old sophomore linebackers Raymond Scott and Darien Butler, Narbonne feels it’s the best duo around.
The juniors to be were on display on Wednesday night at Gardena Serra for a passing competition against Long Beach Poly and Serra.
Scott is committed to USC. Butler also is starting to get recruited. Together they are young but talented and figure to be pushing each other to be the best in the City Section.
Narbonne’s passing attack looked in midseason form under new quarterback Jalen Chatman.
Poly is going to rely on the brother passing combination of quarterback Nolan McDonald and tight end Camren McDonald.
Serra has a competition going on at quarterback trying to replace Khalil Tate.
Loyola is hosting Poly and several other schools next Wednesday in a passing competition.
