Football: Peninsula cancels game because of excessive heat

Peninsula has canceled playing a scheduled football game for Friday afternoon at home against Compton Centennial because of excessive heat. The school doesn’t have lights.
Peninsula is 1-3 on the season.
Centennial is 2-2.
