Football: QB Brad Kaaya is offered by UCLA

After weeks of speculation, UCLA has come forward and made a scholarship offer to Chaminade quarterback Brad Kaaya.
Chaminade Coach Ed Croson brought Kaaya to his P.E. class on Tuesday and they called UCLA Coach Jim Mora, who made the formal offer to Kaaya on the phone.
Kaaya has been a longtime commit to Miami, but UCLA’s offer will get consideration.
“Any kid in Los Angeles would be interested in UCLA,” Croson said. “He’s firmly committed to Miami, but I think he’s flattered.”
