Rosemead (4-4, 4-0) is headed to a regular-season ending showdown with Arroyo (6-2, 4-0) to decide the Mission Valley League title, and leading the way has been 6-foot-2 senior quarterback Steven Nava.
Nava has passed for 2,137 yards and 24 touchdowns.
His offensive coordinator is Matt Castaneda, who formerly coached at Ribet when it was throwing the ball for big yards.
Nava has been a three-year starter. He had five touchdown passes last week against El Monte.
