Football: Three more players from Calabasas suspended for Saturday bowl game

Three more Calabasas football players have been suspended for Saturday’s Division II-A bowl game against Citrus Hill for leaving the team bench area during last week’s Western Division championship game against Palos Verdes during an altercation, Southern Section spokesman Thom Simmons said Tuesday night.
They join receiver Keyshawn Johnson Jr., who was ejected from the game and can’t play on Saturday.
Calabasas officials met with Southern Section officials on Monday to identify players that violated the rule of not leaving the bench area during an altercation.
Simmons declined to identify the players involved, but Calabasas officials have since confirmed that standout two-way player Darnay Holmes is one of the suspended players.
Not having Johnson or Holmes available could be big blows for Calabasas’ offense.
