Girls’ basketball: Diego Rivera replaces South East in Division II playoffs

South East, originally selected for the City Section Division II girls’ basketball playoffs, has been replaced by Diego Rivera.
South East is ineligible for the playoffs because of rule violations. The seeding committee should not have placed South East in the playoffs, Commissioner John Aguirre said.
Diego Rivera will open against Belmont on Thursday.
