Girls’ basketball: Keppel junior Kelli Kamida makes 16 three-pointers

Kelli Kamida, a junior at Alhambra Keppel, set a Southern Section record on Tuesday by making 16 three-pointers in a 90-50 win over Montebello. She finished with 48 points.
“It was amazing,” Keppel Coach Joe Kikuchi told the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
