Girls’ basketball: Lynwood is site for fall preview showcase

Lots of top girls’ basketball teams will be playing on Saturday at Lynwood High School as part of a fall basketball preview showcase.
Among the top games are La Jolla Country Day vs. Long Beach Poly, 7 p.m.; Mater Dei vs. Bakersfield Ridgeview, 3:15 p.m.; Poly vs. Mission Hills, 4:30 p.m.; Chaminade vs. Country Day, 3:30 p.m.; Palisades vs. Los Alamitos, 9:15 a.m.; Etiwanda vs. Oaks Christian, 4:45 p.m.
Alemany plays Mission Hills at 2 p.m.
