1. PORTLAND: Ranked first in the NBA in rebounds per game (46.8) and second in points allowed (96.5). (1)
2. GOLDEN STATE: Has won 11 straight home games to improve to 13-1 at Oracle Arena. (3)
3. ATLANTA: Reports have the Hawks being sold; team still winning games at high clip. (8)
4. MEMPHIS: Grizzlies are 16-4 against the tough Western Conference teams. (11)
5. DALLAS: Rajon Rondo scored a season-high 29 points in return to Boston for first time since trade to Mavericks. (7)
6. CHICAGO: Despite shooting 23.3% (14 for 60) in his last three games, Derrick Rose remains confident in his shot. (6)
7. TORONTO: Hanging tough with an 11-6 record since All-Star DeMar DeRozan went out with left groin injury. (4)
8. HOUSTON: Rockets have dropped three of their last four games. (2)
9. WASHINGTON: Dropped to 1-2 on super-tough West Coast trip. (5)
10. CLIPPERS: Still waiting to see them make that run Coach Doc Rivers said he felt was coming. (9)
11. CLEVELAND: Tough times. Now LeBron James is out for two weeks with left knee and back injuries. (10)
12. OKLAHOMA CITY: Back to .500 (17-17) for the first time this season. (13)
13. PHOENIX: Averaging 106.7 points per game, fourth-best in the NBA. (12)
14. SAN ANTONIO: Spurs are 3-7 in their last 10 games.
15. MILWAUKEE: Still hanging after Coach Jason Kidd said Larry Sanders missed games for “personal reasons.” (15)
16. NEW ORLEANS: Improved to 11-1 when blocking seven or more shots in a game. (16)
17. BROOKLYN: Nets back to .500 (16-16) for the first time since November. (18)
18. MIAMI: Heat has lost three straight, six of eight games. (17)
19. SACRAMENTO: DeMarcus Cousins having All-Star season, averaging a double-double at 23.8 points, 12.0 rebounds. (20)
20. DENVER: Nuggets can at least rebound the basketball. They average 46.1 boards per game, third-best in the NBA. (19)
21. INDIANA: Showing some life by winning five of last seven games. (24)
22. BOSTON: After winning three straight, the Celtics have lost five of six. (21)
23. ORLANDO: Magic dropped to 3-13 when allowing opponents to score 100 points or more. (22)
24. DETROIT: Pistons have won a season-high four straight games. (29)
26. LAKERS: Playing Kobe Bryant reduced minutes is the best thing for the aging superstar and the team. (26)
25. UTAH: Has won five of last eight games; lost guard Alec Burks with season-ending left shoulder injury. (23)
27. CHARLOTTE: Hornets have lost five straight games. (26)
28. MINNESOTA: Has lost 10 consecutive games; allowing 108.7 points per game, the second-most in the NBA. (27)
29. PHILADELPHIA: Has lost last four straight games by an average of 23.5 points per game. (28)
30. NEW YORK: May shut down Carmelo Anthony for rest of season because of sore left knee; has lost 10 straight. (30)
