Serena Williams doesn’t like question about her Olympics dance

&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;You can ask Serena Williams a lot of questions, just make sure they are uplifting ones and don’t really reference her post-victory dance at the London Olympics.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;In New York for the U.S. Open, Williams got a little testy over the weekend when a reporter asked her about the negative comments her dance received.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;”I read zero press,” Williams said. “That has been my policy since I was 17. I don’t know what was made too much of or whether it was too little. I think winning the Olympics was awesome for me and for the USA.&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;”I’m still kind of in the Olympic moment. I love the Olympics. I was just so proud of the final tally of gold medals that I contributed to. It was really awesome.”&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;The dance Williams did was apparently based on the Crip Walk, a hip-hop dance made famous by Crip gang members in Compton, in the 1970s. And she didn’t like that being brought up.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;”First of all, it was just a dance,” Williams said.&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;”I didn’t know that’s what it was called. Second, why are you asking me that? Like that’s so — I mean, if anything you should be trying to ask me questions to lift me up, not bring up such things. I’m done with that question.”&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;Williams was also asked about &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”PECLB0052978810”&amp;gt;Kim Clijsters&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt;’ claim that Serena is the best women’s player of all time.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;”I never think about that,” she said. “I can’t sit here and say I’m the best ever. I’m not. I’m not worthy of that title. I’m just Serena.&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;”I love playing tennis and I’m good at it.
