Update: Two reasons the Trail Blazers are second in the Western Conference — defense and rebounding. They lead the league in rebounding (46.7 a game) and are third in points allowed (97.1 a game). It also doesn’t hurt to have Damian Lillard (21.7 points, 6.4 assists a game) and LaMarcus Aldridge (23.1 points, 10.7 rebounds).
