Chris Kaman to start for Lakers against Jazz

Chris Kaman supporters finally are getting their wish.
He will start at center for the Lakers on Tuesday against Utah.
He complained about playing time on a few occasions this season and was backed by a surprisingly vocal group of Lakers fans taking to email and Twitter.
Kaman had 27 points Sunday against Chicago, setting the stage for the inevitable.
“Chris has been playing well,” Lakers Coach Mike D’Antoni said. “Offensively, we’ve struggled a little bit to start the game, so he’ll help there.”
Kaman takes the place of defense-minded Robert Sacre.
Power forward Shawne Williams also moves to the starting lineup a few days after being signed to a 10-day contract. Ryan Kelly will go back to reserve status.
Steve Nash said he would play Tuesday despite leaving Sunday’s game with nerve irritation in his left knee. Nash’s back also tightened up on him in that game, a 92-86 Lakers loss to the Chicago Bulls at Staples Center.
