USC’s champion water polo teams to be honored at White House

Players and coaches for USC’s 2013 NCAA champion men’s and women’s water polo teams are scheduled to be among the national championship teams honored Monday at the White House, a USC official said.
The teams are scheduled to meet with President Obama.
The USC women’s team won the title by defeating Stanford.
The men’s team won a record sixth consecutive championship by defeating Pacific.
The last USC teams to visit the White House were the 2009-10 men’s and women’s water polo and men’s tennis teams.
