Former USC commit Daelin Hayes announced his commitment to Notre Dame on Thursday in a video produced by Bleacher Report.
Hayes, from Skyline High in Ann Arbor, Mich., committed to USC in July 2014 and signed a financial aid agreement last September.
The agreement is binding for the university, but not for the player.
Hayes announced his decommitment from USC in the wake of former Coach Steve Sarkisian’s leave of absence and eventual termination.
Hayes, 6-foot-3 and 250 pounds, chose Notre Dame over Michigan State and Ohio State.
