The Seattle Seahawks signed former USC safety Dion Bailey to the practice squad on Tuesday.
“So thankful God gave me the strength to fully heal & the opportunity to continue chasing this life long dream!!! #GoHawks,” Bailey wrote on his Twitter feed.
Bailey, an undrafted free agent, suffered an ankle injury during the Seahawks’ training camp in August and was waived.
Bailey intercepted five passes for USC in 2013. He declared for the draft with a season of eligibility remaining.
Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll recruited Bailey to USC when he was the Trojans’ coach.
