Athletes shine with all-league honors

Laguna Beach High athletes have earned All-Orange Coast League status in boys’ volleyball and boys’ tennis.

Five players from the boys’ volleyball team, which won the OCL championship and reached the quarterfinal round of the CIF Southern Section Division 2 playoffs last month, placed five players on the all-league team.

Laguna dominated the all-league boys’ tennis team which is headed by league singles champion Ryan Gee, who was named most valuable player. The Breakers, champions of the OCL, finished runner-up to the CIF-SS Division 4 title last month.
