On Google Maps, a virtual view from the street

Google Maps, www.maps.google.com, just got cooler with the Web behemoth’s new street-level views of U.S. cities.
What’s hot: The virtual views — you can take a scroll down Broadway in New York and zoom in on theater billboards, check out the 360-degree views of the Strip in Vegas or an ocean view in Miami.
What’s not: So far, street-level maps are limited to San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York, Miami and Denver. Zoom in and the views get grainy. And cornering can make you dizzy.
