High Sierra Regatta
When, where: July 11 and 12 and July 17 and 18, Huntington Lake
Highlights: About 150 boats and more sailors, including national champions and Olympic medalists, will race in this 56th annual event.

SACRAMENTO
With Malice Toward None: Lincoln’s Bicentennial Exhibition
When, where: Through Aug. 22, the California Museum
Highlights: Celebrate Lincoln’s legacy at the exhibit’s only West Coast stop. Audiovisual presentations, documents and artifacts enhance visitors’ understanding of one of America’s greatest leaders.
