Emirates’ L.A.X.-Dubai airfares on sale, but not for long

Emirates airline is cutting rates by 10% on flights from Los Angeles to Dubai in a limited-time offer that ends Thanksgiving Day.
The deal: The airline operates nonstop daily flights between Los Angeles (LAX) and Dubai Airport (DXB). The sale, which is available only online, applies to first-, business- and economy-class fares. Use the code “AEAME11” to get the discount when making a reservation.
When: The offer is good for reservations made between now and 11: 59 p.m. PST Thursday (for travel from now through Dec. 7 and Jan. 12-March 31.
Tested: I checked sale rates for flights from LAX to Dubai on Feb. 1 and returning on Feb. 8. The round-trip fare cost $1,422 per person including tax with the discount. I also checked the same flights on the same dates without the sale; it would cost $1,572 per person including tax, or roughly 10% more.
