Reporting from Las Vegas — Nick Cannon came to the Consumer Electronics Show last week, but he wasn’t there to perform.
Cannon appeared to pitch his line of Ncredible Headphones he designed for Monster.
When he wasn’t on the convention floor, Cannon found time to celebrate with a shindig at 1 OAK Nightclub inside the Mirage last Tuesday night.
The rapper and part-time deejay did some filming for his upcoming stint as the host of “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” and then took a spin inside the DJ booth. Cannon frequently play the host at Las Vegas nightclubs, most recently at 1 OAK in November.
He mixed up old-school classics from Poison, Bell Biv Devoe and De LA Soul with hits from Jay-Z. At one point, DJ Rukus, DJ Cassidy and hip hop model and actress Amber Rose were all in the deejay booth with him.
Before the musical gig, he had dinner at Stack restaurant with 18 friends, including Rose and R&B singer Al B. Sure.
At the end of the evening, a cake appeared in the shape of -- what else? -- Ncredible Headphones.
