Reporting from Las Vegas — Nevada’s largest shooting range moves into its new digs in October.
The Range 702 heads to a 17,000-square-foot building with room for 16 firing lanes and a 720-square-foot VIP suite with four private lanes.
The 3-year-old company features National Rifle Assn.-certified and -trained safety officers who help keep the facility safe and show guests how to use the collection of classic and new machine guns.
Visitors can find nine shooting experiences with different fully automatic options, four semiautomatic guns and nine pistols.
Shooting experiences start at $50 per person but can hit the $1,800 neighborhood for groups of 10 inside the VIP suite.
Guests can also take classes to earn a concealed-weapons permit, get an introduction to handguns and firearms, learn with women only, learn about tactical rifles and carbines or get armed-guard certification.
The Range also offers gunsmith services that go from cleanings up to machining work.
The Range 702 is located at 5999 Dean Martin Dr. Those interested can make an appointment and get free shuttle service from hotels nearby via one of two Mercedes Sprinter buses.
