Will on Bush

I have been reading George F. Will as a columnist in your paper as well as a contributing editor to Newsweek for many years. I don’t always agree with his conclusions, but I admire his writing and his incisive comments.
The column (Editorial Pages, Jan. 30) on Vice President George Bush is a classic! I cannot recall having ever read a column in which a politician has been drawn and quartered so neatly and completely.
As a Democrat, I should be pleased. But as an American my concern is even greater that Bush may indeed be the standard bearer of the Republican Party in 1988.
