In the article “Teachers to Vote on New Contract” (April 24), relative to teachers voting on a new contract, the teacher president of the Capistrano Unified Education Assn. looks forward to a new superintendent and a new negotiating style to replace the years of “game-playing” of the past.
What this really means is that the new superintendent of the Capistrano Unified School District should recommend to the board casting prudent fiscal management to the wind for salaries. Subsequently, the district can declare bankruptcy a la the Richmond schools.
