HUNTINGTON PARK : 1,000 Expected at College Workshops

Huntington Park High will host the second annual parent-and-student College Conference on Saturday.
The workshops will provide college information to parents and students from Bell, Bell Gardens, Fremont, Garfield, Huntington Park, Jordan and South Gate. More than 1,000 students from grades 10, 11 and 12 are expected. Last year’s conference drew more than 500 students and parents.
The conference is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the school, 6020 Miles Ave.
