Schools / Education news : 3 Students Honored for Essay Writing

Three students from the Fountain Valley School District have been honored by the district’s trustees for their writing achievements.
Each year, the Orange County Reading Assn. asks school districts to submit students’ essays for the Outstanding Student Author contest.
This year’s Fountain Valley winners are Michael Caldwell, fifth grade, James H. Cox Elementary School; Greg Laws, fifth grade, Cox Elementary; and Steven Brown, seventh grade, Fred Moiola Elementary School.
