* Re “Vandals Damage School Computers, Books,” Sept. 9:
Let’s see, Hillcrest Drive Elementary School gets vandalized every weekend--$30,000 damage in just the last raid. In just one raid, the damage almost equals the salary of one full-time guard. Now, Johnny, what does this suggest to you? Looks like the LAUSD board has failed modern math.
