Serrano Elementary School is presenting a free community carnival from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, which will offer a haunted house, craft booths, food and games at 17741 Serrano Avenue. A silent auction of various baskets, filled with entertainment coupons, glamour supplies and sports knickknacks, also will take place. Proceeds from the sale of baskets, packaged by Serrano students, will go to the classrooms.
Tickets are 50 cents each to play games or visit the haunted house.
