Ex-Secretary of Army Gets Cal State Post

Former U.S. Secretary of the Army Louis Caldera was named a vice chancellor of the California State University system.
Caldera, who served as secretary under President Clinton, will take over duties as vice chancellor for university advancement, overseeing fund-raising, alumni and public relations for 23-campus Cal State, the nation’s largest public university system.
Its board approved a $210,000 compensation package.
